GOOD NEWS CLUBS
Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children after school, with their parent's permission. Most clubs are held in public schools. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme. Each club is adopted by a local church that provides the volunteers, funds and prayers to support the club.

CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN ACTION
Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a program designed to train middle school to college age youths in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. You will attend a one to two week training school where you will learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, counsel a child for salvation and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids. Components of this club include teaching a Bible lesson, a missionary story and a Bible verse as well as leading songs, games and a fun review time.
After this training, you will return to your local community and teach clubs at various locations with a team of other young people. These clubs take place out in the community with predominantly unsaved kids who don’t regularly attend church. You will be able to take the light of the Gospel to them in their apartment complexes, day care centers, neighborhoods, schools and other community locations. Depending on the state you serve in, you will teach clubs from one to five weeks during the summer. |
5 DAY CLUBS
5 Day Clubs5-Day Club is an exciting, fun-filled one and one-half hour held each day for five consecutive days. It includes: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary story, meaningful songs, life-changing Scripture memorization. These clubs are held throughout the summer in homes, parks, apartment complexes, churches or anywhere that children gather. The teachers are teens who have been trained through the CYIA program. The more trained teens we have the more 5 Day Clubs we can have reaching more children throughout the summer.

- (March 2020) Ministry has a different look in light of the corona-virus quarantine. There are no active Good News Clubs in schools as schools have been shut down. CEF has implemented a virtual plan called Good News Across the Web and some chapters are reaching the children virtually through this program.
- Another program being used is the U-NITE KIDS videos on U-Tube. Children can access Good News Club videos of Bible Lessons, Memory Verses and Songs, all the time, all free. And check out other free resources at cefonline.com/covid19
- Shut-in children can call our Tel-a-Story number daily and hear a different Bible story each day of the year. Listeners also have the option to personally speak to a Tel-a-Story Guide, following the story, if they have questions or want to respond to the invitation to put their faith in Christ. - If you know children who are struggling with why this is all happening, you can share with them this free resource, "Do You Ever Wonder Why?" This booklet was written following the disaster of 9/11 and has now been done as a video, available to anyone with internet access. You can also order physical booklets from https://cefpress.com/
- Please be praying for the saved children to continue leaning on God for support during these trying times, for unsaved children to hear and respond to the Gospel, and for volunteers to see how they can still be used even in times of quarantine.

JYou Connection™ (JYC™) is a place for middle-schoolers and young teens (age 11-14) to enjoy faith, fun and friends.
JYC is a new ministry to CEF of USA that was started in Ireland. However, many chapters around our state have started these clubs as a followup to Good News Clubs. If you have a passion for reaching and encouraging middle-schoolers, please contact your local director for more information.
